Daniel Ray Inks Recording Agreement with Three Hills Music Group
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – It was nearly fours years ago when Daniel first met his soon-to-be producers, Dale Duhl and Jimmy Tarbutton of Three Hills Music Group in Southaven, Mississippi, at one of the first SouthernGospelNews.com
Conventions. At the time, Dale told Daniel “someday I’m certain we’ll work together on a recording.”
From that time on a relationship between the record label and Daniel continued to develop until both parties said it’s time to broaden Daniel’s powerful ministry.
Song selection is well underway for this highly anticipated recording that will contain Daniel’s signature song; “I’ll Run With You”. This song says it all from a point of view that only Daniel can see.
(See Daniel’s complete bio at http://danielrayministries.com/bio.html)
The recording date is yet to be announced, however, both parties are anxious to begin work on this creation. Pre-production and storyboarding have also begun on Daniel’s first concept video that will accompany this Three Hills
recording. A late spring date is set for the completion of this power-packed recording that should be retail-ready prior to the summer concert season.

“It Was Jesus” Making Big Waves at Radio
(Nashville, TN) When Bill Monaghan and his producers; Dale Duhl & Jimmy Tarbutton of Three Hills Music Group began work on their latest collaboration, little did they know that the first single would coincide with a Hollywood movie. The first single “It Was Jesus” was written by the late Johnny Cash a song that he recorded over forty years ago. It was decided early on that the music track would emulate the early sound of Johnny Cash, and with a little studio magic and a team of Nashville’s finest musicians the outcome is in the words of dozens of radio program directors…AWESOME!
The single, along with a fifteen minute radio feature “Nashville’s Gospel Music Review” in which Bill was the featured guest was shipped on the heels of the Johnny Cash, I Walk The Line” movie. This has helped fan the flames of an already career song for Bill.
As the year 2005 winds down the touring schedule of Bill Monaghan has seen remarkable growth since radio began playing this latest release.

Three Hills Music Group and J & D Multimedia, Inc. have just completed production on what is being touted as a " first for Southern Gospel Music "; an all-inclusive 47 minute informative mini-seminar. This ground-breaking piece of educational material is being shipped on CD ROM to over 500 Southern Gospel Artists at no charge. This CD includes coverage of such topics as marketing & promotion, video & TV production, music recording, and career/ministry development . Entitled the Gospel Music Truth, this treasure trove of information will quickly become the most powerful tool a group or soloist can possess if a career in Southern Gospel Music is their goal. The material contained in this 47 minute mini-seminar is drawn from the same curriculum that is taught in the " Inside Gospel Music " seminar which was written by Three Hills Music Group partner, Dale Duhl. Although this is an edited version it is not meant to take the place of the complete seminar that the SGMG hosts each year.
The " Gospel Music Truth " is a hard hitting straight forward look at the very best methods available today to help an artist achieve their goal of success. According to partner Jimmy Tarbutton, "the main reason for the production and free distribution of this information is that after viewing the material contained in this presentation, the artist will have more control in making the decisions that will affect their career or ministry." Evangelist Bobby Clark Joins Three Hills Music Family
It hard to imagine that it's been nearly 5 years since radio first embraced the music of Bobby Clark. Having grown up in a musical family, Bobby began preaching at age 11. He has combined his musical talent and preaching into a ministry that continues to open doors throughout churches across the nation. Bobby's decision to join Three Hills Music Group is based partially on the label's fresh production approach and the fact that the company already has several noted ministers on their roster. Bobby's first Three Hills Music Group Recording, with the working title "Are You Really Rapture Ready", is due for release in January 2004. Three Hills Music Group producers, Jimmy Tarbutton & Dale Duhl state that, "Bobby's dedication for both the Ministry and his music are a natural fit with the label's long list of successes and we are both thrilled to be working with an artist of Bobby's stature."

Bill Monaghan and Three Hills Music Featured at Ten Commandment Rallies
Bill Monaghan, along with Three Hills Music Group executives Dale Duhl and Jimmy Tarbutton, spent two days involved with the recent Ten Commandment Monument rallies in Montgomery, Al. Both days were filled with Network Television News interview such as Fox, NBC, and CBS, the Chicago Tribune and other local media outlets. All this attention stems from his recent single in support of Chief Justice Roy Moore and his stand for the 10 Commandments. Throughout the two day event Bill's song "The Ballad of Judge Roy Moore" could be heard playing throughout the massive crowds that gathered at the Justice Building there in Montgomery. The sale of this two song CD, one of which is Bill's latest radio single, "Get Real For The Lord" was overwhelming and welcomed by all, as a portion of the income derived from this special endeavor will go to the legal defense fund, for Chief Justice, Roy Moore.

Three Hills Music Group's Linda Lanier Gain Popularity at More Than 1200 Military Bases Worldwide
Some three months ago when our country was just beginning the first phases of the war on terrorism, Three Hills Music Group Recording Artist, Linda Lanier was laying down her polished vocals on what is now becoming the nations prayer anthem. Although Linda has been on a non-stop tour since, she has managed to make several major television appearances, communicate personally with Governor, Judy Martz of Montana and even the U S Senate. Her song, "Prayer List" paints a vivid picture of our troops and the dangers they face and at the same time it reminds us of the never ceasing prayer that is needed during these troubled times.
At the conclusion of the audio recording, Linda went straight into full production on a concept video (her second with Three Hills Music Group, Inc) that features actual scenes from the war in Iraq. Like her albums the concept video was directed and produced by producers, Dale Duhl & Jimmy Tarbutton. Their productions have gain unprecedented popularity on television networks and shows during the past three years. Since it completion her video has been shipped to more than 1200 military bases and war ships, several major Christian networks and is in shipment as of press time to more than 750 television stations. Thru efforts by several DJ's, her video found a slot in the "Hometown News" a U S Military News Service and even gained precedence over several major country music acts.
Linda, not wanting to capitalize on the tragedy of war chose not to publicize the initial release of this powerful song. With the overwhelming momentum and exposure that this song is gaining outside the world of Southern Gospel Music all involved in her ministry decided that Southern Gospel Music fans too should share in the blessing that this song has brought.

Bill Monaghan releases Second Project with Three Hills Music Group
Three Hills Music Group recording artist Bill Monaghan (pictured here with producers, Dale Duhl and Jimmy Tarbutton) has completed his second album for the label. The recording was done in their new Pro Tools suite. "The addition of the latest in digital recording technology allows us to spend more time on various aspects of production and gives us greater flexibility and control over the recording and mixing process", said Jimmy Tarbutton. Dale Duhl added: "we are also looking forward to integrating video with audio in our new facility so we can do much more in-house production".
Bill's latest recording "I Need Thee Every Hour", captures 12 of Gospel Music's most beloved hymns. This collection of songs was specifically chosen to be a focal point for Bill's nursing home ministry. Although Bill is rapidly becoming a favorite within the major concert venues, he also has the unique ability to present his music to small groups such as nursing homes. Bill is one who looks at his music as a ministry and is willing to present it when ever and where ever. As "I Need Thee Every Hour", is finding its way to a hungry Bill Monaghan audience, song selection is already underway for yet another Three Hills Music Group record that will be released by fall 2003.

An Oak Ridge Boy Visits Three Hills Music Group
Richard Sterban, bass vocalist for the Oak Ridge Boys, spent the day at Three Hills Music Group's Recording Studio, adding his vocals to the soon-to-be-released recording of Chele' Sterban. If the last names seem similar, that's because Richard is Chele's father in-law.
Producers, Jimmy Tarbutton and Dale Duhl said, "Richard's seasoned bass vocal was a welcomed addition to Chele's material and is something that gospel music fans everywhere will enjoy." Richard went well beyond just singing, he took the necessary time to be creative as well, although he was under a tight schedule preparing for next week's annual event, Country Music Fan Fair.
Chele' has had considerable success during her tours building a very significant fan base that has supported her previous recordings. Chele's soon-to-be completed recording entitled, "Turn on the Light", consists of various musical styles that place her in a unique position to work a variety of venues. Chele's fresh on-stage delivery is a welcome addition at major Southern Gospel concerts and in the sanctuary at larger churches where she has appeared. For more information about Chele's recordings and videos contact Three Hills Music Group, Inc.

Linda Lanier - "Never Walk Alone"
Produced by Dale Duhl and Jimmy Tarbutton
Three Hills Music Group
While she may not be an everyday name, Linda Lanier sings with all the power and enthusiasm of any singer performing today. You will get a variety of styles that Linda performs ranging form pretty straight country to a little bluesy sound.
The song selection is versatile and interesting with tracks that really get your attention. Up tempo numbers like "Ain't No Mountain" and "Dry Ground" will lift your spirit and have your toes tapping.
"River Of Blood" is a moving ballad with a strong message. There is one song on the CD that has a very unique message to it. "Wounded Baby" talks about how religion can wound baby Christians. "Heaven Came Down" had a real progressive country sound to it. You may find your hands raised to heaven as you listen to this song.
Linda has a real flair for the fast songs so more of those are in order, like "It's Gonna Rain Again" and "Too Much Jesus In Me".
Other songs include "What An Awesome God", "That's What I Call Faith", and "We Never Walk Alone".

Southern Harmony - "Celebration"
Producers : Jimmy Tarbutton and Dale Duhl
Three Hills Music Group
This project is a good explanation as to why mixed groups are becoming so very popular today. This CD is so diversified that I would call it a Traditional Progressive Southern Gospel with a touch of Soul album. There really is something for everybody to listen to, but I honestly think that everyone will like the whole CD.
While it starts off with what I pick as my favorite song on the CD, there are several others that come very close to being my favorite pick also.
"Long As I Got King Jesus" is one of those Progressive SG songs with a little Soul added in. This song will get the congregation in any church to moving, swaying, and down right worshipping. This is the first radio release from the project and I believe that it should do very well. DJs, my advice is to play this one in "heavy" rotation.
"Tell It All" just picks up where the first song leaves off. While not quite as "soulful", the high energy continues, but this time with a little "country" flair. Penned by Gina Vera, this is a wonderful "testimony" song. Speaking of the "country" touch, "You Don't Even Want To Make Me Pray" will keep your attention. The unique message of this song will keep you listening all the way through.
Moving into the Traditional SG sound with "It'll Happen Again", this group shows that it can sing any style and do it very well. Make sure that you have on your running shoes when "I Can Go To God In Prayer" comes on. Although it's just three background singers, you will swear that it is a "black" choir backing them. Once again, we are talking high energy here.
Slowing the tempo down, "What About His Grace" is a beautiful ballad with a message that will grip your heart. Closing out the CD with a true Southern Gospel song, "God Will Always Finish What He Starts", written by John Mathis, this fine young group maintains the same excitement that the started the CD with.
Other songs include the old "Classic" hymn 'How Great Thou Art", "When We See Jesus", and "From Glory To Glory"
The tracks on this recording are all very clean and full sounding.
